Our Mission: Empowering Lives through Clean Water
At our non-profit organization, we are dedicated to empowering locals, particularly women, in rural areas of Kenya. Our current focus lies in tourist destinations and areas where cultural artifacts are produced. In Kithiini Village, one critical issue has captured our attention: the lack of access to clean and safe drinking water.
The Challenge: Access to Clean Water
Currently, the community relies on dirty water from shallow wells near dry water beds, posing serious health risks. To address this pressing issue, we have already installed 8 hand pumps in the locality, but we aspire to achieve even more with your support.

Your Impact: 3 Additional Hand Pumps
We have a vision to install 3 additional hand pumps in shallow wells, providing clean drinking water to 1,000 individuals (200 households). This initiative will not only benefit the community members but also 500 herds of cattle and 1,200 small livestock, crucial to the livelihoods of the people in this arid and semi-arid region.

Access to clean water is a basic necessity that unlocks potential in various aspects of life, including health, education, and economic opportunities. By ensuring clean drinking water, we empower these communities, creating more time for economic activities, such as basket weaving, which we assist women in selling in the fair trade market.
