Hand washing, is hygienic act of cleaning your hands with soap and clean water to remove viruses, bacteria, microorganisms, dirt, or other harmful substances that have stuck to your hands. This program is aimed at helping on removing the germs, preventing people from getting an infection, developing diseases and even passing the same to other people.
For example COVID-19 infections are still high in Kenya and we have reports of infections in from all corners of the country. This is a COVID-19 infection prevention and control project aimed at reducing the risk of infection amongst the public in Kenya. Other diseases can also be prevented through handwashing.
